Enzo's fifth reference travels with Letfkicks to Lost technologies, an extraordinary
journey where the frontiers between human and machine have disappeared. The
resultant mechanical organisms try to understand in vain their existence and the
unclear reasons which lead them to their self-destruction.
Leftkicks was born in 1984 in a very small village near Granada,
a city located in the South of Spain. Since he was a teenager he
has been strongly interested in electronic music and groups like
Chemical Brothers, Public Enemy, Crystal Method, Beastie Boys, Nwa,
Orbital, Boards of Canada and similar groups which got him in the
world of electronic sounds.
When he got a good computer in 2000, he started to create his own
rhythms with music software. Shortly after, he bought a MIDI
keyboard and started to go more deeply into this topic. It's true
that the above-mentioned groups are his influence. They mark his music.
However, he creates his music taking the first basis from hip-hop and
funk to the purest electronic tracks. He loves to play with the sampler
and destroy sounds but also enjoys his collection of free VST synthesizers.
